Experience Professional Counseling in a Safe and Caring Environment While Acquiring Tools for Personal Growth

Are you struggling with a series of challenges, emotional distress or anxieties that are negatively impacting either your day or your mood?  Are you experiencing a low-frustration tolerance, irritability or feelings of hopelessness or worthlessness that leads you to withdraw or isolate yourself from others?  Have you lost a loved one? Does the pain still weigh heavy on your heart and mind?  Is you marriage or relationship suffering? Are you unhappy and you just don't know why?  Are you having problems communicating? Are you struggling to overcome your addiction?  Have teens or adolescents struggling with emotional, behavioral or social issues?

We understand that throughout life, many of us are faced with a series of trials and challenges.  Far too often the inability to cope and the shame associated with these feelings causes us to feel as if we are alone.  Well, we want you to know that you are not alone.  At our counseling practice, the focus will always remain on you; as we seek to understand these issues and the variety of emotions that accompany them. Our goal is to provide a warm, safe, comfortable environment to help you explore your emotions.  We also strive to help you gain insight and strength while acquiring the tools necessary to turn these challenges into opportunities for personal growth to promote a healthy emotional and balanced lifestyle!

Testimonials

I've been to many therapists in the past but none of them compare to Ms. Alicea Bailey. I've always been against therapy until I started seeing her. She's a great listener, provides great insight, and is incredibly understanding which makes opening up in sessions a breeze. She's taught me skills that help me to feel empowered and to manage my emotions. For the first time, I feel like I'm in control of my life and not a passenger allowing my depression and anxiety to take control. Words can't describe how thankful I am for all of Ms. Bailey's guidance. I can't recommend her enough! ~Jessica E.~

Seeing Alicea at Center of Attention Counseling Services, LLC has been Transformative. I have been seeing her for a little over a year and she has taught me to become self aware of my emotions and behaviors and identify my chosen areas for self improvement. It's an ongoing journey and Alicea has helped me to identify the patterns of behaviors and steps necessary to make the necessary changes from my own success. I couldn't be more grateful. ~Meagan H.~
